Donate Food

for support from the entire community.
Since 2021 individuals and families in need have increased by 75%.

Donate

The Healdsburg food Pantry relies on cash donations to enable it to purchase food from the Redwood Empire Food Bank for the bulk of its basic food provisions. The REFB supplies food for distribution thru various agencies like the Healdsburg Food Pantry, to 70,000 people in Sonoma County. Basics such as rice, beans, and pasta can be purchased there for 18 cents/pound.

The food industry manufacturers, distributors, and retail establishments augment the basics; specifically, Big John's, Safeway, and Costeaux, consistently give overstocked food directly several times a week to HFP. Additionally, volunteer Gleaners work with local farmers and gardeners to gather surplus fresh fruit and vegetables. If you are a member of the food industry, a farmer or gardener who may have excess food that you would like to donate, please call us at 707.385.6458 or use our contact form.

Make it Personal

There are many ways in which you, as an individual, can directly participate in improving the lives of those facing hunger. The most direct way is by donating food. Create a habit of buying extra cans when you go to the grocery store. Keep a box by your front door where you deposit these extra cans, encourage your Church, work place, or Organization to contribute and when a box or bag is full, bring it to the pantry at 1505 Healdsburg Ave, Healdsburg CA 95448. Someone will be there to accept your donation most mornings between 9-11 AM, Monday thru Friday, call 707.385.6458.
